We at Coburn Vehicle Systems Limited are a local independent garage based in Fakenham, Norfolk consisting of a close knit team of enthusiastic and competent mechanics. Our team is made up of the following permanent members of staff …

Rob (Director)
Our company director is a definite ‘hands on’ type, heavily involved in the workshop side of things and not merely a figure head. With an engineering background, Rob always had a keen interest in vehicles of all types and has built his business up over the last 30+ years, whilst still keeping a firm hand on the spanner! He is regular a Support Mechanic for the Endurance Rally Association, travelling the world with Classic, Vintage and Veteran cars and getting them across the finish line despite arduous terrain, conditions and mechanical complications. Rob is a Licensed MSA Scrutineer and is immensely knowledgeable on the facets and complexities of Motorsports and its governing rules and regulations.

Stephen (Technician)

A highly experienced mechanic with over 35 year’s formal mechanical experience. A Landrover specialist who has built several off-road vehicles in addition to restoration of several classic cars. Stephen is one of the stalwarts of Breckland Landrover Owners Club Limited and in 2010 was a key member of the organisation team for the annual Landrover Nationals.


Martyn (Technician)

A competent mechanic with over 15 years in the motor trade, Martyn’s experience of modern vehicles stems from formal College training augmented by Continued Professional Development through main dealerships. In his spare time Martyn is a Canoe Instructor with Wensum Ospreys Canoe Club in addition to being the Detachment Commander of Walsingham Army Cadets.

Graeme (Apprentice Technician)
Rob has always welcomed interest from young people who wish to gain formal qualifications in the motor trade. Interested in all things mechanical from an early age (his first word was “Landrover”, Graeme commenced his working life in farming and has changed path from fixing tractors to mending cars and light commercials and is currently at College of West Anglia undertaking an Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance. This course, plus the wealth of experience he will gain through working with Rob and the team will prove an excellent grounding in what is an ever-changing industry.
